Is Your Resource Used?

Ensuring The Resource is Used
Resources for our clients are prepared by experts. From education professionals to talented writers and designers, we have commissioned top names including Quentin Blake, Ian Dicks and the late Roald Dahl to produce illustrations and copy to appeal to young people.

But this is not enough. To communicate effectively, educational resources must work in the classroom. As the National Curriculum is revised and updated, no organisation can assume it knows instinctively what students and teachers want.

Your resources will be extensively piloted within schools to evaluate their effectiveness.

This involves:

  • feedback on draft materials from teachers
  • regular visits to schools and colleges to talk to students and observe current teaching methods
  • organising meetings with groups of teachers to discuss their requirements
  • close liaison with the awarding bodies and the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority
  • strict adherence to the standards set by the National Consumer Council for sponsored educational resources
  • testing materials with sample audiences and re-drafting until we are sure that they fulfil the brief.
